Heat pump service

Stay comfortable and save energy by keeping your heat pump in top shape. Have it serviced and you could receive a $50 rebate.

Are you eligible?*

  1. You must be a residential FortisBC or municipal** electricity customer.
  2. You must have your heat pump serviced before December 31, 2018 and submit your rebate application within 60 days of your service invoice date.

How to apply

  1. Review the terms and conditions.
  2. Have your heat pump serviced before December 31, 2018. 
  3. Apply online for your rebate with the following information: 
    • your FortisBC electricity account number or municipal account number from Penticton, Summerland, Grand Forks or Nelson Hydro 
    • your email
    • scanned copies of all paid receipts (please ensure they are clear, legible, itemized and indicate all relevant information such as the brand, model number and any other required information for your application) See a sample invoice for specific requirements.
  4. Your rebate will appear as a bill credit on your FortisBC electricity bill. Customers in Grand Forks, Summerland, Penticton and Nelson Hydro will receive a mailed cheque. Applications may take up to 90 days to process.
