Resource planning
FortisBC is committed to providing safe, reliable and affordable energy for our customers across British Columbia. We have filed a new Long-Term Gas Resource Plan with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC). The plan sets out how FortisBC plans to meet our customers’ energy needs through to 2050. It also explains how we will continue to invest in energy‑saving programs, infrastructure, and lower carbon gases, while supporting B.C.’s climate goals.

We conduct regular maintenance projects for our existing system, and look for opportunities to invest in system upgrades to support customer growth and future energy demand.
