MyVoice frequently asked questions
MyVoice is our online community where British Columbians can share feedback through surveys and discussions to help us improve our services. When you sign up and participate in MyVoice surveys, you’ll help shape the ways we communicate with customers, roll out programs, raise awareness of our products and services and more. If you’re a B.C. resident aged 19 and over, we want to hear from you.
It’s easy to sign up to MyVoice. But first, here are some frequently asked questions to tell you more about the program.
No. MyVoice registration and participation is free.
Yes. Keeping your personal information secure is very important to us. Your responses are confidential and will be used for FortisBC research purposes only. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
We’ll send surveys and discussions via email once or twice a month. Your location and other details based on your account information can also affect how often we’ll ask you for feedback. It depends on the topic and how relevant it is to you.
They’ll usually take about five minutes. Some surveys may be longer, but usually not more than 10 minutes.
Once you’ve clicked the finish button at the end of each questionnaire, you’ll be taken to a thank you page. That means you’ve successfully sent us your responses.
No. Participation is voluntary. You can choose which surveys to complete.
Yes. Surveys are meant for both desktop and mobile devices.
You can change your contact details by clicking your profile icon after you've logged in and selecting Account settings. This will take you to a page where you can update your name and email address and save them.
You can opt out at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can also cancel your participation by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your MyVoice email newsletter.
If you’re not receiving emails from us, it may be because they’re being directed to your junk mail folder. Adding the email address [email protected] to your address book may solve the problem. If you still aren’t receiving emails from us, please contact us at [email protected]
