To speed up the process, have your service address, phone numbers, email address, and two pieces of identification like a driver’s license or BC identification card at the ready so you can provide the information quickly and easily. Alternatively, you are able to open an account through Account Online or visiting Open, close or move your account. Is there a cost to open an account?There is a $15 (plus GST) application fee for those setting up a natural gas account. When setting up an electric account there is a $13 (plus GST) account set up or transfer fee. A security deposit may be required to set up your account. However, residential natural gas and electric customers have the option to have a credit check completed and if they are approved, the security deposit will be waived. |
