Ways to pay your bill

Whether you’re a homeowner or have your own business, we offer many ways to pay your natural gas and electricity bills. Choose what’s most simple and convenient for you.

Pre-authorized Payment Plan

Have your payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account.

Telephone or online banking

Log in to your bank’s website or call their telephone banking number. You’ll need your FortisBC account number (found at the top of your bill) and our payee descriptor: either FortisBC natural gas or FortisBC electricity.

At your bank or credit union

Pay your bill at your local bank or financial institution. You’ll need to have your bill when you make the payment.

Credit card

You can pay your natural gas bill with MasterCard, Visa or Visa Debit, or with KUBRA, a third-party credit card payment service (service fees may apply). Sorry, at this time, credit cards are not an option for electricity payments.

Cheque or drop box

Pay your bill by cheque and mail it to us, or visit one of our drop box locations in person.

Large print bills

Call us to request your bill in large print.

  • Natural gas customers: 1-888-224-2710, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Electricity customers: 1-866-436-7847, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
