Whether you’re a homeowner or have your own business, we offer many ways to pay your natural gas and electricity bills. Choose what’s most simple and convenient for you.

We’re here for you: billing support during COVID-19

We understand you may be facing financial uncertainty due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We’re here to help, waiving late fees and suspending disconnections. Plus, we’ll help you find the flexible payment options that suit your individual needs.

Pre-authorized Payment Plan

Have your payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account.

Telephone or online banking

Log in to your bank’s website or call their telephone banking number. You’ll need your FortisBC account number (found at the top of your bill) and our payee descriptor: either FortisBC natural gas or FortisBC electricity.

At your bank or credit union

Pay your bill at your local bank or financial institution. You’ll need to have your bill when you make the payment.

Credit card

You can pay your natural gas bill with MasterCard, Visa or Visa Debit using KUBRA, a third-party credit card payment service (service fees may apply). Sorry, at this time, credit cards are not an option for electricity payments.

Cheque or drop box

Pay your bill by cheque and mail it to us, or visit one of our drop box locations in person.

Take care of someone else’s account

We realize some customers may not be able to pay their bill due to age, illness or ability. If you help an elderly family member or dependent with their bill, we can add you to their account. Find out how.
