Terms and Conditions – Switching to FortisBC paperless billing

By selecting this paperless bill delivery option, you agree that FortisBC will deliver a Portable Document Format (PDF) of your bill to the email address that is used by you in this request. This email address provided by you, the account holder, will be deemed by you as valid and set as the account holder’s verified email address. 

By selecting this option, you acknowledge that you will no longer receive your FortisBC bill by mail.

FortisBC will have this update completed within 10 business days, and your following month’s bill will be sent via email as a PDF.

By selecting this option, you acknowledge that FortisBC is not responsible for lost or misdirected emails which may occur, for example, if your email address is not valid, your inbox is full, or your FortisBC email is sent to your “junk” email folder. Additionally, while FortisBC has appropriate security protections in place, email is not a secure form of communication.

To receive your natural gas bill:

We recommend you add gas.customerservice@fortisbc.com to your safe senders list.

To receive your electricity bill:

We recommend you add electricity.customerservice@fortisbc.com to your safe senders list.
