Pipe and tank insulation rebates

Uninsulated or poorly insulated pipes and tanks represent a significant source of energy waste at industrial facilities. Insulation helps save energy costs and keep steam pressure at the right level in your steam system. We offer rebates to encourage customers to install insulation on pipes and tanks for hot water and steam that are heated by natural gas.

Eligibility requirements*

  1. You must be a FortisBC natural gas customer under any rate class except Rate 1.
  2. You must be the property owner or long-term leaseholder of an industrial facility.
  3. You must submit an application and supporting documentation no later than 365 days after the purchase date of the product(s) (as shown on the paid invoice).**

*You can find a complete list of eligibility requirements in the terms and conditions.
**Industrial production is a manufacturing or transformative process in which raw materials are transformed into finished goods for the purpose of resale with the use of machines, tools and labour.
