Custom rebates for new multi-unit residential buildings

Your next construction project could be at the forefront of energy efficiency with our program supporting the construction of high-efficiency, multi-unit residential and mixed-use buildings.

Are you eligible?*

  1. You must be a FortisBC or municipal** commercial electricity customer.
  2. You must be building new or extensively renovating a multi-unit residential building, such as an apartment or condominium complex that may include commercial space.
  3. You must receive approval before installing eligible energy-saving measures.

Available rebates

Choose from a variety of incentives, including custom performance and individual energy-saving measures. For example, you could choose a lighting design rebate, plus in-suite appliance rebates.

  2. Contact a FortisBC electricity technical advisor or natural gas energy solutions manager to get started.
  3. Submit a completed and signed pre-qualification application by December 31, 2017 to
  4. You’ll receive written approval of your pre-qualification application within 30 days.

Note: energy-saving measures installed prior to written approval will not be eligible for incentives.
