Qualifying air source heat pumps

We encourage you to work with a professional heating and air conditioning contractor who can correctly match a system to the size and characteristics of your home. They can also help you identify a rebate-qualified model.

Your air source heat pump must meet minimum efficiency guidelines to qualify for a loan or a rebate. You can find information about the efficiency of a heat pump by looking at the EnerGuide® rating, which is often on the back page of manufacturers’ literature for each model.
