Coming together to spread holiday cheer

Community investment, Employee volunteering, Indigenous relations

Holiday cheer was spread around Rainbow Kitchen in Victoria when a group of elves from FortisBC's Langford office, Coldstar and M'akola Development Services came together as community partners. The employees put together gift bags for deserving guests of Victoria's Rainbow Kitchen which provides meals to women, men, boys and girls in need. The kitchen is almost 100 per cent volunteer run and relies heavily on donations and support from the community.

This story goes beyond three organizations working together. Gloves, socks, personal care items, toys and treats were collected and organized by employees wanting to support the community in which they work and live. We would like to say thank you to all participants for your generosity this season.
