Each year FortisBC provides a $500 scholarship for each school in the FortisBC service territory area. The scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest overall GPA, who will be entering a post-secondary program to pursue one of the following fields:
Participating schools determine the selection process for the recipient of this award and advise FortisBC in writing of the selected student's name and mailing address and their qualifications for the award. If you have a larger house and aren't using one or more rooms, be sure to lower the heat to those rooms by closing the vents or turning down the heaters. Check your basement and attic to ensure you're not heating areas that aren't occupied.  |
