The company is pleased to support their efforts through the FortisBC’s Employee Donations Program. Moving MountainsEach year employees put on their sneakers in support of the annual employee-driven Moving Mountains relay run. In 2007 over 100 employees and volunteers participated in a 370-kilometer run from Trail to Kelowna raising over $21,000 towards the purchase of an Osteotomy Hip System for the Orthopedic Unit of the BC Children's Hospital. |
If you have a larger house and aren't using one or more rooms, be sure to lower the heat to those rooms by closing the vents or turning down the heaters. Check your basement and attic to ensure you're not heating areas that aren't occupied.  |
