FortisBC filed its Preliminary 2007 Revenue Requirements Application with the BCUC to set customer electricity rates for 2007 on September 29, 2006. The Company is requesting a general 2.9% rate increase, effective January 1, 2007.
FortisBC filed its responses to Information Requests from the BC Utilities Commission, BC Old Age Pensioners' Organization et al and the Interior Municipal Electric Utilities on October 25, 2006. On November 1, 2006, FortisBC filed its updated 2006 and 2007 forecast with actual results to Sept 30/06. Based on these revisions, the requested rate increase for 2007 has been reduced from 2.9% to 2.1%.
On November 7, 2006 FortisBC re-filed Tab 4 with correct title page and header and footer.
