H. Stanley Marshall was appointed to the FortisBC Inc. Board of Directors upon the Corporation’s acquisition from Aquila, Inc. in mid-2004. He has served on the Fortis Inc. Board since 1995. He joined Newfoundland Power Inc. in 1979 and was appointed President and CEO of Fortis Inc. in 1996.
Mr. Marshall serves on the Boards of all Fortis companies and is a Director of Toromont Industries. Mr. Marshall earned his Bachelor of Law from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia and obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario. Mr. Marshall is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Newfoundland.
John C. Walker

John C. Walker is President and Chief Executive Officer of FortisBC. He was appointed to the FortisAlberta and the FortisBC Board of Directors in March 2005. Mr. Walker has worked with the Fortis group of companies since 1983, where he began his career with Newfoundland Power Inc., working in several progressively senior positions in finance and human resources.
Mr. Walker is a member of several boards within the Fortis group of companies, including FortisBC Inc., FortisAlberta Inc., Newfoundland Power Inc., Terasen Gas Inc., and Terasen Inc. Mr. Walker is a member of the Climate Action Team. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

He is founder and president of Sumac Ridge Estate Winery, president of Black Sage Vineyards, president of See Ya Later Ranch, president of Okanagan Valley Estate Wine Cellars Ltd, and responsible for government and industry relations in Western Canada for Vincor International.
Dr. John S. McCallum

Dr. McCallum was appointed to the FortisBC Board of Directors in October 2004. He joined the Fortis Inc. Board in July 2001 and the FortisAlberta Board in March 2005.
Dr. McCallum was Chairman of Manitoba Hydro from 1991 to 2000 and Policy Advisor to the Federal Minister of Finance from 1984 to 1991.
He now serves as a Director of Investors Group Inc., Toromont Industries, and Wawanesa.
Walter Gray

Mr. Gray served as City Councilor for the City of Kelowna from 1986 to 1990. In 1996, he was elected Mayor for three consecutive 3-year terms, being re-elected in 1999 and 2002 and serving until December 2005. During his tenure, the City of Kelowna experienced significant growth.
Gray’s service for his community includes Founding Director for the Kelowna Snowfest Committee, President of the Okanagan Neurological Association, President of the BC Association of Broadcasters, President of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, President of the Kelowna/Kasugai Sister City Association, Director of Telefilm Canada, Chairman of the Okanagan University College Bold Horizons, Director of the Okanagan Film Commission, Director of BC Transit, Member of Premier Campbell’s Task Force on Homelessness, Mental Illness and Addictions, and Member of the BC Achievement Awards Advisory Panel. He is currently a Director of Sun Country Cablevision Ltd. with stations in Salmon Arm, Enderby and Armstrong.
Beth Campbell

Beth Campbell currently holds the title of Governor for Best Western International Inc. and serves as the Vice Chair of the Member Marketing Advisory Committee for Best Western International Inc. She is also serving a term as Vice Chair of Tourism British Columbia and as Vice Chair of the Provincial Capital Commission.
Ms. Campbell previously served as Mayor of Penticton and as a City of Penticton councilor.
She is President of the Penticton Chamber of Commerce as well as President of the Penticton Hotel Association and is active in the community.
Roger Mayer

Roger Mayer was elected to the Regional District of the Okanagan Similkameen in 1987. During his 18 years with the District, he served as Chair of the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen from 1996 to 2001 and as Chair of the Regional Hospital District from 1996 to 2000 and again from 2002 to 2004.
Mr. Mayer has worked on many initiatives for the Regional District including working with the community to construct a new Health Care facility in Keremeos, to provide better service to the residents of the area while creating efficiencies needed for small population communities. He was also pivotal in delivering through a public private partnership, a wireless broadband internet service in the Lower Similkameen.
William J. Daley
President and CEO of FortisOntario Inc.
Mr. Daley oversees a diversified electric utility holding company and manages the wholly-owned subsidiaries: Canadian Niagara Power and Cornwall Electric. These utilities, located in the Niagara and Eastern regions, serve approximately 52,000 customers and meet a combined peak load of 256 MW. Mr. Daley also directs the company’s ten percent interest in Westario Power and Rideau St. Lawrence Power, two regional electric distribution companies serving a combined customer base of 27,000. In addition, he manages the regulated transmission assets in the Niagara and Cornwall areas, including an international interconnection between New York State and Fort Erie, and a 5 MW natural gas cogeneration plant.
Mr. Daley is an active member of the Board of Directors of several companies, including
FortisOntario, Newfoundland Power, Westario Power and Cornwall Electric. Mr. Daley also served on the Board of Maritime Electric from 2003 to 2005.
R.L. (Randy) Jespersen
President & CEO of Terasen Gas Inc.

Randy has been with Terasen Gas Inc. (formerly BC Gas Utility Ltd.) since March 1996, was appointed President, Terasen Gas Inc. in January 2002 and as President of Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) in January 2004. As investor owned utilities, the Terasen Gas companies are the largest distributors of natural gas in the Pacific Northwest and the third largest in Canada, providing approximately 200 BCF annually to more than 900,000 customers located in over 125 British Columbia communities.
Randy is the incoming Chair of the Board of the Canadian Gas Association, and is a former Chair of the Western Energy Institute. He has served as a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers Executive Policy Group for Markets & Transportation. He has frequently appeared as a witness before the National Energy Board and the British Columbia Utilities Commission.
