What information do I need to get started?
Gas service removal - Include the following when you submit your removal request:
- The address of the building the gas service will be removed from
- Proof of ownership (may be requested)
Residential customers:
Removal of service

Minimum scheduling lead times for residential customers are:
- Lower Mainland: 2 – 3 weeks
- Interior: 3 – 4 weeks
- Vancouver Island/Sunshine Coast: 4 – 6 weeks
The above are minimum suggested lead times. Some circumstances may require longer lead times than stated. These circumstances include site visits, permits, or additional design for complex service installations. Please remember, it is always better to apply too early than not early enough.
Builders & developers: new subdivisions, town house complexes, strip malls, residential / commercial mixed use, new mobile home parks.
A longer lead time will be required than what is needed for residential customers.
