There are several rate classes that apply to businesses in the Fort Nelson service area.

Rate 2.4	Natural Gas Vehicle Service - with on-site compression and refuelling as provided by FortisBC	in addition to charges under rate 2.3, rates are as per contract/filing
¹Starting January 1, 2012 the basic charge will be calculated on a daily basis. Previously the basic charge was a fixed monthly fee. The total basic charge will vary based on the number of days in the billing period. Rate 2.3 and 2.4 will remain a fixed monthly fee.

Rate 3.1	Applicable to industrial customers who have consumed less than 96,000 GJ in the previous calendar year
Rate 3.2	Applicable to industrial customer who have consumed equal to or more than 96,000 GJ in the previous calendar year but less than 360,000 GJ.
Rate 3.3	Applicable to industrial customer with forecast consumption equal to or in excess of 360,000 GJ for the ensuing calendar year.
