Engineering

Engineering provides the technical expertise and project management resources for our many successful facility and pipeline developments.

Project Management

Engineering develops many skills that you could bring to Project Management. From routine upgrades to new facilities, from individual gas taps to million dollar plants, somebody has to organize the tasks and talent. A project manager schedules and communicates with members of departments throughout the company. Whether it's a 10 week or 10 year development, the success of our projects depends on skilled and creative management.

Project Management attracts professionals from different backgrounds - engineering, technology, and construction are just a few. Consider Project Management if you've got an organizational mind, can communicate with all types of professionals, and you're looking for a rewarding, long term opportunity.

Engineering Services

Engineering Services provides designs, assessments and guidance in the technical aspects for facility and pipeline developments at FortisBC. You could be drafting project drawings, designing monitoring systems or testing gas samples.

As part of this team you would be using your technical skills to support your co-workers and the community. Safety and practice standards are high priorities, but so are new ideas and innovations. Seasoned professionals work alongside those who are just embarking on their careers.

The Engineer-in-Training Program (EIT)

The EIT program supports Junior Engineers as they develop their skills. EIT participants work in different departments while they gain necessary experience to become professional engineers.
