Customer Service

FortisBC is opening two Customer Service Centers, one in Prince George and one in Burnaby in January 2012. While the initial hiring is nearly complete, be sure to check back regularly for new opportunities.

Customer Service Representatives and Managers

As a member of Customer Service, you will be a key contact for either customers seeking information, or working on managing accounts, billing and service standards.

Advanced customer service technology will help you provide responsive service to our diverse customers. Your knowledge about our ever-evolving range of energy conservation programs and integrated energy solutions will help us create a complete customer service experience.

Your strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are keys to success in Customer Service. For those working in our contact centres or billing operations, computer skills are essential, including fast, accurate keyboarding and data entry. Knowledge of the energy and utilities sector and previous call centre experience is great to have, but not required.
