  • Whistler

Proposed projects

FortisBC is committed to educating the public about projects before they are undertaken. Below you will find projects under development that will ensure the continued safety, reliability, and integrity of our natural gas system.

  • Kingsvale-Oliver Reinforcement

We're studying the feasibility of building new gas transmission pipeline facilities in BC's southern interior. The new facililties would benefit existing FortisBC customers and also make it possible for shippers to transport gas to new markets.

Planning

To serve a continually growing number of customers, we must ensure that we have the necessary resources in place for our natural gas transmission and distribution systems. We also need to ensure that the appropriate services are in place to meet our customers’ needs.
